I am a multimedia marketing professional with strong experience designing, implementing and managing digital marketing content and digital marketing strategies. Video and social media influenced team player with a passion for experimenting and executing in the ever-evolving realm of digital media. Travel, sunsets and coffee enthusiast, passionate about sports (specially soccer, Formula 1, boxing and tennis) and music, fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese; and has a basic level of French and German. Above are the companies I have had the honor to work with where I have coordinated many initiatives, generated and produced media content for TV and radio networks, as well as online and digital platforms. I am currently the Head of Content for the Bundesliga in the Americas, and the host & producer of the 'Uncovering the Cover' podcast. As the Director of Digital Content for Atlanta United FC, I lead the strategy, planning and execution of all the content from the club, for owned & operated platforms, social media and partner channels. I oversee and manage the content creation team to plan, schedule and implement content initiatives across Atlanta United’s online assets (atlutd.com, app, social media channels, web, and email) as well as media partners and other distribution channels, as required. I partner with strategy and data teams to set learning agenda, establish performance goals and take an insight-based approach to content strategy and optimization. Atlanta United FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2017 and won MLS Cup in 2018, and is one of the top ten football clubs in the world in average home attendance.
As the Head of Content for Bundesliga International for the Americas, I was responsible for the strategy and brand positioning of the Bundesliga(the German professional soccer league) on digital properties for the United States, Canada and Latin America. With home in New York City, the Regional Office Americas of Bundesliga is in charge of brand awareness and partners relations in the continent. I worked together with partners in the region such as ESPN, FOX Sports, Rogers Sports & Media, Sky Sports, TV Azteca, OneFootball, Mediotiempo, Diario AS, WIN Sports, Marca/Claro Sports, Bandeirantes, and many others, to position the Bundesliga as the number one European league in the Americas.
I was the Senior Manager of Social Media & Digital Producer for Univision Deportes in Miami, where I co-created and implemented the social media strategy for the network's social media channels on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. I led the 2018 FIFA World Cup social media coverage on-site, producing a fan-focused daily Facebook and YouTube live show recapping the most important moments of the day from each one of the cities in Russia, where I served as a reporter and host. I launched successful awareness campaigns in social media, related to the UEFA Champions League on Univision, Liga MX, Bundesliga, MLS, and the Mexican & U.S. National Teams.
As the New Media Editor for MLS Digital, the area responsible for all the content and digital products of Major League Soccer, the top-tier soccer league in the United States & Canada, I successfully led, coordinated and produced content aimed at the U.S. Hispanic and Latin American fans of the league. I had the opportunity to cover one FIFA World Cup (2014), the Copa América Centenario 2016, two CONCACAF Gold Cups (2013, 2015), three CONCACAF Champions League and four MLS seasons. I was fortunate enough to be part of the development of the league's fan engagement centric strategy.
I started my career with ESPN, at the company's global headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. I participated in the production and coverage for the 2012 UEFA Euro for ESPN Deportes in the United States. I was also part of the production teams for Fuera de Juego and ESPN FC, the two main soccer TV shows in the network, airing in the U.S., Latin America, the UK, Asia and the Caribbean. During my time with ESPN I was also part of the production of live games for many of the most important leagues and soccer tournaments in the world, such as UEFA Champions League, Spain’s La Liga, the English Premier League, Italian Serie A, Brasileirao and Major League Soccer.
